TUITION / WORKSHOPS  -  
Christine has since the mid 90s taught Palmistry at various Adult Education venues both in the Bournemouth and Southampton area of the UK.  The Tarot is taught privately at her home.  Since 2001 Christine has regularly been teaching both disciplines at Mind, Body & Spirit, Westbourne, Dorset. 

The classes take the form of a one day Workshop at the weekend or over a 6 week period for 2hrs every week, whatever suits the student best.  Both Tarot and Palmistry are taught separately, at both beginners and improvers levels.  Each course is accompanied by detailed notes and there is plenty of practice time.   

In the Tarot the student starts by learning the key words, then practices layouts and readings.   Then consolidating their knowledge with the symbolism on the Tarot cards in the improvers course.  When Christine first began teaching the Tarot notes would be dictated but she found that in one of her classes she had one student who was hard of hearing and another who was dyslexic and they struggled to keep up, so she produced the CD/tapes to assist them and has found that other students find them a useful learning tool.  Everyone learns in their own way some students may only have to look at the cards, others prefer to read the notes and look at the cards, while some find listening to the CD/tape whilst looking at the cards to be the most effective method.

In Palmistry the student gradually builds up the knowledge and of course there is lots of ‘hands on’ practice with other students, as well as looking at photocopied handprints.  Part of the course is learning how to take handprints.
