TAROT
The majority of decks of Tarot cards are made up of 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana cards. The word Arcana means division or section.
The Major Arcana are like a phase of our lives from beginning ‘0’ The Fool meaning naivity rather than stupidity right up to ‘XXI’ The World meaning the end of a phase and hopefully having learnt the lessons that the phase has brought us, ready then to go onto the next phase in our lives.
Some packs and indeed some readers will only use this part of the deck. However it has to be remembered that the Major Arcana deals with the major issues whilst the Minor Arcana deals with more every day occurrences, so it’s a bit like reading a story where only the main events are detailed and missing out on the happenings leading up to and after the events.
When using the complete deck of 78 cards if a higher ratio of Major Arcana cards appear then matters tend to be under the influence of fate. Whilst if the ratio contains a greater number of Minor Arcana cards then matters are more likely to be in the hands of the client/questioner.
Although there are references to either he or she, male or female the card can be applied to either gender, as we are all part man and part woman.
The Tarot can be utilised in many ways in order to discover where an issue has originated, what is around it now and what the potential outcome will be. This can be achieved by various layouts including the Celtic Cross, 12 months ahead, by directing towards specific areas and what is likely to evolve and of course direct questions.
The Tarot within the hands of a competent reader have the means to get to the truth, which allows the client to make an informed choice of how they deal with any given situation.
All readings are confidential and can be recorded for the client to keep, which they can use as a point of reference if they so wish.
